Officially Licensed Camouflage Patterns from the best pattern makers in the game!
Here at Camoclad, we’re always out there hunting for new and exciting camouflage pattern designers and companies that are breaking new ground in the hunting and tactical concealment industry. In the beginning, back when we first started putting camouflage on vinyl for use on vehicles and more, there really were just a few companies in the game that had wide recognition in the hunting and outdoor industry. Those companies were designing great patterns, but they were generally designed to a smaller scale that was more suited for clothing. That makes sense, considering at the time, we were still a new company and the only one focused on taking camouflage to the larger scale applications such as trucks, ATVs, boats, and so on. The problem is that these big name companies are still almost exclusively creating patterns at that scale, even today when the camouflage vinyl industry is seeing unprecedented growth and it’s becoming clear that big jobs need bigger camouflage patterns.
That’s where companies like Lost Camo, True Timber, Moon Shine, A-TACs, Next Camo and more are stepping up to the plate. These more modern companies are designing large scale patterns, some even with offset tiles, that reduce the number of obvious camouflage pattern repeats on the side of a vehicle by 50% or more. While companies like Mossy Oak and Realtree are still largely committed 25-30 inch camouflage patterns that work great for clothing, these new guys are thinking big and creating camo patterns that are 48 inches, 60 inches, even as big as 8ft wide.
So what does that mean? Well instead of seeing that same vertical tree or bush or leaf pattern a dozen times down the side of your new extended cab long box Silverado popping up every 2 to 2.5 feet or so (as would be the case with the popular Realtree AP and Hardwoods patterns, as well as the full line of Mossy Oak Break-up, Obsession, Duckblind, Brush, and so on), new patterns like Lost and Lost AT (with tiles of 5ft across) will only repeat a total of 4 times down the length of your truck. All you have to do is look at some pictures of these patterns that have been installed on vehicles to see how obvious these repeats are!
These bigger patterns are where it’s at for vehicle installs, and here at Camoclad we’re happy to offer you exclusive access to many of these large scale patterns for vinyl applications. Take a look at the list of brand names on the left side of the page and see what we have to offer. I’m sure there’s a pattern in our library that will do the job for you, no matter what kind of environment you’re looking to disappear into!
